i am a 15 year old in high school and I just failed my second quarter of school and I am so scared. I used to be starlight A student but my grades just keep getting lower and lower. I don’t have any motivation and I just want to disappear and have everyone forget my existence.

i am a 15 year old in high school and I just failed my second quarter of school and I am so scared. I used to be starlight A student but my grades just keep getting lower and lower. I don’t have any motivation and I just want to disappear and have everyone forget my existence. 

Failing is part of our journey as human beings. Dont be too hard on yourself whenever you fail be forgiving instead. Dont let grades define who you are as a person. Its something you have to learn. Dont let how you value yourself be dictated by a grading system that is imperfect. I believe in you who ever you are. Have the strength to face failure and learn from it. In this world things happen whether we like it or not. What matters is you learning how to handle it.

I would recommend that you find someone you trust (perhaps a teacher or an upper classman) to help you with your schoolwork and to just listen to you if you have something you need to say. I am a senior in high school, so it’s very hard to find motivation to get scholarships and good grades. Motivation wise, try to think of an end goal that you really hope to achieve. Do you want to go to college? Then what do you want to study? Or do you want to start your own business for the most bizarre cupcakes anyone has ever seen? Be creative, and don’t be afraid to dream. With that sort of goal laid out, it will give you motivation to push on through school. I will be praying for you! I believe in you!
