So I want to run an experiment but the thing is I don't know how to properly do this experiment. The problem is finding a person. The experiment I want to run is about Arthur Aron's 36 questions. For all the people that know about that yeah, yeah I know it's weird, I want to see if it works. If you don't know what it is welcome to class. Arthur Aron is a professor of psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. In 1997, he came up with a series of 36 questions that are meant to spark intimacy and love. But it can also be performed platonically. It has many steps and takes about an hour. And I want to see what happens, does it work? Are there any factors that effect the results? Okay, could it also be because I am lonely and want friends and to connect with people, Oh and also want love. But I do actually want to try it on a purely scientific level too. But the thing is I need other people for the experiment and it's not like I can walk up to a person and go "hey, you want to try an experiment with me? Oh and also we might fall in love with each other and stuff." And I guess that's why I want to try it is because it really has nothing to do with social standing, popularity, wealth or anything else. It's a test that looks at just a persons heart and in our society I personally don't think what's in a person's heart is valued as much as it should be. But anywho, anyone got any advice on how I could I try doing this? Or finding someone who would agree to try it? Thank you!
