Rev Molefe Tsele, the former Pastor ELCSA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in Southern Africa), and the General Secretary of the South African Council of Churches, convined a Zoom meeting on the 18th of May 2020 to map out action plans to deal with the Bishop of Central Diocese as per instructions of the Presiding Bishop MHJ Ubane. The minutes have clearly indicated that the Presiding Bishop has personally ordered the action against the Bishop. A number of former pastors of the Church, who were defrocked by the Church Council, have joined the plot and are all assigned different roles to gather as many supporters as possible. Among those targeted to be recruited are full time pastors and members of the Synod. It is so sad, one would have expected that Bishops are castodians of the Constitution of the Church and Advocated for Peace. Inside story is that the same group had advised the Presiding to carry out the same actions in South Eastern Diocese.
