<p>i’ve listened to some artists who i think have good songs but have done shitty things in the past. idk where i stand on separating an artist from their work because i remember someone saying that if you indulge in their stuff at all then you’re supporting them by putting money in their pocket. also idk what to think if that artist has not apologized for what they did. i know it isn’t that deep but some people victimize other people who support them in one way or another and i don’t feel right if i’m supporting someone who has said/done offensive things. what do you guys think tho?</p>

<p>Hey, I understand how hard it is. The artist already did all those things, we can't do anything about that. But as long as you know that you shouldn't follow their path, you can enjoy their music as much as you want. You're not supporting them for all those offensive things by putting money in their pocket, you're just simply enjoying music. No one should stop you from that. About the victimising part, there is never a perfect decision to make. No matter what you do, there will always be someone who believes otherwise.
