when i was a kid, i had a wild imagination. as did every other kid in the world, but instead of playing make believe and telling others to role play with me, i would write. i started writing around the age of 9. silly stories. the first short story i wrote was for an essay in 4th grade. it was called, "attack of the evil fluffy unicorns". silly name, and a very silly story. but i was thriving. it gave me inspiration to start writing a spin off series of star wars, called "cat wars". the first book i began to write was a parody of "the phantom menace". but i called it "the feline menace". it starred me and all my friends and was a gateway to coping with what i deal with every day.now, i write because it helps me calm down. i write fiction, fan fiction, and these blog posts. i'm currently writing my first fan fiction, and it's helped a lot. a good coping mechanism. i guess i just wanted to make a post about this because... something that people call "nerdy" or "uninteresting" may be something that will be perfect for you.
