Well. I got my answer. Kirby Smart is not the man. Inherited a great team. Fertile recruiting ground. If you don’t know; it’s Texas; Florida; Georgia, & South Cali. People say well why can’t they keep them all? Because the only ones who stay that close are mommas boys. They may be talented; but rarely fully dedicated. The best seek out the best program. The smartest figure out who develops for the NFL the best. The most dedicated players seek out the best programs. The party animals seek out the tiny little college towns where they can cover up drunk attacks in bars & restaurants. Attacking other students. They start a fight. Someone shows up. They are whisked to a no tell cash clinic. At the same time a money man has arrived to calm the patrons. The owners called. They offer $ & whatever to settle it quietly. They will get guy help. He had hard life. How can we make this right. I’m not saying this is right or wrong. I am related to college athletes. Had people trying to recruit my kids when they played sports. So what. We love sports. The kids can get a free education. If you love to play then do be it. But I like to play a game. I’m so good at picking the top teams. But I guess it’s ocd’s. I get annoyed when I’m wrong. That makes it fun. If you try to figure out science you’ll always be right if that’s possible. But if you try to figure out who the 4 teams in the playoffs will be; you may get it right. So far I’ve did that like once. I usually get 2-3. This year I may not get any. I picked mine at the very end of last season. I get so cocky I can’t just wait for coaching changes & early exits to the NFL. I have to guess that too. Who will lose assistant coaches? Not Clemson. They have a bunch of old dudes who were coaching together when Dinosaurs played football. They don’t want to go anywhere else. No one wants to make them a head coach. So that’s stability. Penn State used to have that under Jo Pa. The other big programs with good HCs lose assistants. So you have to guess that. Same with early exits. Who can actually develop their potential NFL players to the max? (the party schools are less likely to ). Party players will 3 & out. The best programs throw a curve. They create endless 3 & dones. Always a new lineup on the field. But will some dedicated players return to Clemson just to win a title like happened recently? Will a couple stay back to up draft stock? I love the chaos. I was trying to predict chaos before they had a name for it. How to predict the unrepeatable? Because even chaos follows patterns. You can bet your butt the Yankees will win another series eventually. It just means more to them than it does to anyone else. They are the flagship. I call them the bad guy. They usually are not bad people. In fact many are great. But you have to have a villain. So the Yankees are mine. I will not root for them. I will root for everyone but them. That means I get to root for everyone else. See how that works? I’m not against the Yankees. I want them to win s bunch of titles. That makes it fun. I want all the best players to pile on that one team. The best coaches. The media to love them a massive number of people to cheer all over the world for them. Then I’m going to cheer for any other team to beat them. If they win I laugh. I’m like I had every team but them; & they still won. But if anyone else beats them I won. See. This is how I watch & enjoy sports & don’t get mad. I already know Army is not winning another national title for a long time. But we won in the past. My guys are going off to war. If they could focus only on football we would win some. But football has to be a game for us. See how I use us. I never played there. That makes it fun. Without the fans you’d have some people playing a child’s game in a cow field. We the fans are the only reason it matters. I’m college my friends sucked me into sports. We’d go at it. Some took it very serious. I pointed out how no one cared who won. To some people it matters. I feel I’m here to save souls. But I also like to entertain myself. So I watch sports. Do other stuff. See. LeBron James decided his whole purpose in life was to wear shorts; & dribble round ball indoors. I also could drain 3’s (better than him), & slam the bell (no where near as good). But to me, basketball was some boring game they tried to make you play when it was wet outside. We’d talk them into dodgeball. If we had to play with the girls; volley ball (I was awesome. That’s actually fun on the beach). But basketball? Couldn’t stand it. So what. Other people like it. It’s one of the peripheral sports. Like golf; auto racing; tennis. The easy to play sports that some people love. So if you lived someplace cold & didn’t like hockey, then maybe you liked staying in the gym. I grew up riding horses in the mountains. Walking around hunting a ball in the grass; dribbling a round ball in your sneakers, I wasn’t interested in watching you do that on TV I liked playing basketball because it required little effort. Baseball is hot. Standing around. You have to stay focused. Football is brutal. Basketball is like jumping rope. Nothing to it. Sprint up & down. Put it in. Simple. What’s my point? Opinions vary. Find what you like to watch. I like to watch football. I can’t watch the MMA. I get pumped up. I watch sports to relax. Not want to jump in the ring. If they’d had that when I was young I’d been in it. Assuming it paid well. Only reason I didn’t try rodeo is the pay wasn’t good. So if I watch golf or basketball I just fall asleep. I did use it for that at times. Record tiger destroying the field. The Lakers. Boom. I’m asleep. I did watch Jordan. Liked how he played. I watched Tiger. Earnhardt Sr. Gordon. Williams sisters. But no sport controls me. It’s entertainment. If Tiger wins or loses it doesn’t change my life. I’ll finish in Georgia Bulldogs part 2.
