Is it alright to accidentally fall into cis-normative thinking as a trans* individual?

This keeps bugging me a lot right now. Does anyone else experience to mess up proper gender-neutral descriptions while discussing stuff about gender, although you are Trans* yourself? For instance explaining that two females can have a baby together too although a proper way to convey it would be that you don't need a sperm to have a baby. I'm Non-Binary, discovered this part of me only a year or so ago, and I mess up sometimes. I hate myself for it and sometimes feel that messing up something so simple invalidates me. Opinions?
