<ul><li>So, I'm from India and you guys might know that it's quite a big deal if a guy and a girl are "friends" in India. And the thing is, me and my guy friend are friends since 3 years. We used to talk a lot on phone calls (we were just friends), but I knew that my parents wouldn't like me talking with some guy at night (this was the reason we talked secretly on phone calls) and one day, my dad caught me. I was lectured a lot. Whatever he told me was not wrong, but he told me not to talk to him again. So, I was kinda heartbroken (all this happened in the beginning of the lockdown). One day I mustered courage and called him. At first, of course he was angry and sad with me..but gradually we came back to normal. And nowadays he's acting quite different. Like:</li><li>If I call him after 15 days he's like "ohh...VIP person, you don't even have time to call me, right?"</li><li>I've told him not to call me, as we might get caught again, so I'm the one who calls him. And every time we're about to end the call, he's like "yeah, sure, I know I'm not important to you" and all...he wasn't like this before.</li><li>Earlier our calls used to last for 20-30 minutes, but nowdays, whenever I call him the calls last for more than an hour.</li><li>Whenever I mention some other guys (his friends for example) he gets jealous. </li><li>Recently a girl confessed to him and he's like "that girl and you're soo similar" (I know most of the people he knows, but I've never met this girl) </li><li>That day he said "there's this friend of mine who likes you, so what should I say to him?" (I honestly know almost all of his friends, and I don't know this anonymous friend of his)</li><li>Yesterday I called him after 15-20 days and he was like "I was playing game, but just when I was about to finish, I got your call. And that made me so happy!" (He was really cheerful while saying this) </li><li>So....does all this mean that he likes me? I mean, I've got a feeling that he likes me..I'm not sure, he keeps giving mixed messages.</li></ul>

<p>Your feelings  seem valid.  I would  guess from  your  writing  that  you  are  fairly  young.  Having  experienced  heartache from  a sense of  attachment  with  a  guy, my advice  would  be  to  focus  on  the  here and  now and  possibly  avoid  building  castles  way into  the  future.  Your  intuition  seldom  lies. If it's an incredible  vibe, that's  good.  Cryptic  emotions bring  more  questions  than  answers.  If it's  a  hesitant  vibe? You'll  know  your  answer.
