As I walked into the hotel, I knew something was wrong. The lobby seemed normal enough, but everything seemed a little too shiny, or too flat, or something else like that. It was almost as if I walked into a TV set. The woman at the counter, who was wearing an overly stereotypical attendant outfit, helped me get my room set up. This place was known to be somewhat average, despite the price being lower than the norm. I had already paid online, so most of the steps were already done. After we finished everything and I got my room key, “Have a nice night!” The attendant said cheerfully. After that I got into the elevator, and went up to my floor. Then I found the room “Room 48, huh?” I exclaimed. Once I opened the door, a pleasant smell wafted through the door. It was the smell of fresh lemon-scented soap, obviously used recently by the cleaning staff. I walked in, fully prepared to watch TV, relax and sleep the night away. At about 10 pm, I was having trouble sleeping. The scent of the soap never left the room. Starting out nice, it became more putrid as time went on, I decided to track down the culprit of the smell. As I entered the bathroom, I realized the smell was coming from the closet. As I opened the closet, I was shocked to what i found. “WHAAAAAAA” I screamed. It was a misshapen mushy pile of soap, in the rough shape of a human. The face was contorted into a terrified scream, as I jumped back, I heard a noise. Not just any noise, a soft chuckle of a feminine sounding voice. It said “Well what do we have here? Another visitor? Well let’s enjoy ourselves, shall we?” The last thing I remember was that horrid, rancid smell.
