I just learned that in some places, you will be punished if you attempt suicide, and I was, 'WTF???!?'If you ever thought about taking your own life, you're probably suffering, and you just wanna end it. Why can't society normalize it? You're not hurting anyone. Why can't you decide for yourself? If you failed your attempt, you will be in jail. Wow, like, it would really help you from your suffering. Some will say that it's selfish. But do we have obligation to keep on living? Obligation to whom? Society? If you keep on living, will the pain go away? Or will the 'society' help you ease your pain? Those who you left behind will suffer emotionally. And they will too, if you die naturally. We all die anyways, so what's the difference.
